About the role


We are looking for experienced Truck Mechanics who are confident working on heavy commercial vehicles and enjoy solving complex mechanical and diagnostic problems.


Key duties:


  • Servicing and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Engine, cooling, braking and driveline repairs
  • Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and air systems
  • Carrying out major mechanical repairs and component replacements
  • Responding to breakdowns and getting vehicles safely back on the road


What we're looking for


This position is specifically aimed at experienced Truck Mechanics who are confident on the tools and have a genuine passion for heavy vehicles.


  • Diesel Mechanic or other relevant automotive trade qualification
  • Prior, proven experience on heavy commercial vehicles, preferably in a franchise environment
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems
  • Experience with modern diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an experienced team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Full, clean driver's licence
  • Class 2 or higher licence advantageous
