Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Max team as a Manager in Training (MIT). As an MIT, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations at our Milford Store, while also receiving comprehensive training to develop into a future store manager. This full-time position (30 hours per week) will provide you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a dynamic retail environment.


What you'll be doing


  • Assist the Store Manager with all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and staff supervision
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Max policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Participate in training programs to gain the knowledge and skills required to become a successful store manager
  • Provide exceptional customer service and help drive sales performance
  • Collaborate with the store team to maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Demonstrate a passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience


What we're looking for


  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a management or supervisory capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and a keen eye for visual merchandising
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a desire to learn and grow within the organisation
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
