Class 2 Driver - Furniture Mover

We’re looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join a furniture removals team handling residential and commercial moves across Auckland.

This is a hands-on role involving approximately 20% driving and 80% manual handling. You’ll need to be physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting and able to provide friendly, professional service directly to customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving a manual Class 2 truck safely between locations.
• Loading and unloading furniture, household belongings and commercial items.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and moving items safely alongside your team.
• Packing and securing truck loads using furniture blankets and straps.
• Taking care of customer property, including furniture, doorways, walls and floors.
• Communicating with customers and helping make their move run smoothly.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping the truck tidy.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am starts. Shifts range from 6–12 hours depending on workload.

What you’ll need

• A full Class 2 driver licence and the ability to drive manual—essential.
• Furniture removal experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe truck loading, packing and load restraint using blankets and straps.
• Physical fitness and strength to safely manage repetitive lifting and carrying.
• Great customer service skills and a respectful, careful approach.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work variable finish times.
• A clean Ministry of Justice check.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
