About the Role


We're looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Solutions Engineer to join our Specification team.


This is a varied role where you'll work closely with engineers, consultants and clients to develop practical infrastructure solutions across civil projects. You'll support projects from early-stage specification and concept design through to delivery and technical support onsite. The role will primarily focus on providing stormwater solutions, while also supporting pavement design and other civil infrastructure applications.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining engineering knowledge with practical problem solving and industry relationship building.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop concept-level designs and technical solutions to support project specifications
  • Provide technical advice across applications including retaining structures, pavements, slope stabilisation, stormwater, and erosion control
  • Support live projects with practical, solution-focused technical guidance
  • Engage with engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders to promote Cirtex solutions
  • Work closely with internal sales, technical, and design teams to maximise project opportunities
  • Assist with technical documentation, training, and case studies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and product development initiatives


About You


We're ideally looking for someone with a Civil Engineering background, but we're also interested in candidates from related engineering disciplines, particularly Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.


You'll also bring:


  • Experience in a technical, consulting, design, or project-based role
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building capability
  • The ability to balance technical outcomes with practical and commercial considerations
  • Strong CAD capability
  • Confidence engaging with engineers, consultants, and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach


Experience in civil infrastructure, construction, stormwater, pavement design, or geotechnical engineering will be highly regarded.
