Civil Labourers – Auckland

We are currently looking for experienced Civil Labourers for a range of projects across Auckland.

We’re looking for people with previous civil construction experience who are confident working in a hands-on site environment. Experience across roading, earthworks, drainage, utilities, subdivisions or general civil construction would be highly regarded.

About the Role

Depending on the project, your duties may include:

  • General civil labouring and site duties
  • Digging, shovelling and assisting with excavation works
  • Assisting machine operators and other crew members
  • Site preparation and reinstatement
  • Roading and earthworks
  • Drainage and utility works
  • Using hand tools and equipment
  • Spotting and working around machinery
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work site
  • Following site safety procedures and instructions

What We're Looking For

Previous civil construction experience is preferred. We’re particularly interested in people who have worked across different areas of the civil industry and are comfortable getting stuck in wherever required.

You will also need:

  • Previous experience working on civil construction sites
  • A good understanding of site safety
  • Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
  • Reliability and a professional attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Reliable transport
  • Full NZ work rights

Relevant tickets and licences such as Site Safe, ConstructSafe, Traffic Management, WTR, Class 2 or other civil-related tickets will be advantageous.
