The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this is a true 2IC position with full day-to-day ownership of the finance function. You will lead a team of four, drive a significant ERP transition, and play a key role in the organisation's move toward further growth. The Commercial Manager wants someone she can hand the reins to so if you want ownership and variety rather than just being told what to do, this is the role for you. Lead month-end and year-end close - journals, accruals, reconciliations, GL and financial statements
  • Monthly management reports, variance analysis and annual report including Statement of Service Performance
  • Lead the external audit process end to end
  • Budgeting, forecasting and business partnering with operational and community managers
  • Drive an upcoming ERP implementation end to end
  • Compliance, internal controls and finance policy development
  • Supervise and develop a team of four
  • About You CA, CPA or equivalent qualified highly preferred
  • At least five years NZ accounting experience across month-end, audit, budgeting and financial controls
  • Comfortable leading or stepping into a leadership role
  • Systems savvy - the ERP project will be a big part of this role
  • A warm communicator who can engage with SLT and operational managers alike
  • Someone who genuinely connects with the NFP and healthcare space or is open to it
  • A good culture fit matters here as much as the technical skills
