Job Description

Our client is seeking full-time staff with availability to work 4x 10hr shifts each week. Based in Hornby, you will be working in a cold-store environment (can be as cold as -23°C; freezer suit provided), using a voice pick system to pick a variety of chilled and frozen goods.


No previous experience required – all training provided!!

Duties include:

  • Required to pick and pack orders, using a voice pick headset
  • Cold-store environment (can be as cold as -23 degrees celsius; freezer suit provided)
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 25kgs


Hours of work:

You will be rostered on to work 4x 10hr shifts (including Sunday) each week.


Business operating hours:

  • Monday to Friday 5.30am-4.00pm
  • Saturday 5.30am – finish (before 12.00pm)
  • Sunday 5.30am – 4.00pm

The starting rate for this position is: $24.50p/h + 8% Holiday Pay.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be flexible to work both Saturday and Sunday shifts each week
  • Have own reliable transport for early shifts
  • Have experience with a voice pick system (preferred but not essential)
  • Be a fast learner, in order to achieve pick rates and daily targets
  • Be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
