We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Manager to join our Education sector team based at our Central Production Kitchen, Penrose, Auckland. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and operational direction across multiple sites, ensuring outstanding service delivery, strong client relationships, commercial success, and a culture of continuous improvement.


This permanent, full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact across a diverse portfolio.


Ko Ō Kawenga / Your Responsibilities:


  • Lead multiple operations to achieve service, safety and financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and growth.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective budgeting and cost control.
  • Recruit, develop, coach and mentor leaders and operational teams.
  • Champion health, safety, quality and compliance standards across all sites.


He Kōrero Mōu / About You:


  • Proven multi-site leadership experience in a similar operational management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance.
  • Demonstrated success leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, compliance and quality systems.
