Our client is one of the largest civil contractor providers in the New Zealand Region looking for a Cyclic Patrol Person to join their Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Team in the Selwyn Region. If you are located in the Rolleston, Selwyn, Coalgate, Darfield area this role is for you!


THE GIG:


As a Cyclic patrol officer, you are a jack of all trades and master of none. This will require routine roading inspections of your specific area to identify road defects and any potential hazards. Such as potholes, debris or any damage to signs.


A patrol officer is assigned to maintain these potential hazards identified, which may include signage cleaning, pothole repair and clearing drainage systems. You will be working alongside the another lead partner in a team of 2 with general working hours being Monday - Friday with morning starts. But this may vary


You will be working with a down-to-earth, professional team who put in the mahi while celebrating wins and having a laugh along the way.



YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:


  • A reasonable level of fitness as it will involve physical labour.
  • You are happy commuting to the Selwyn District or live in the Selwyn area!
  • Class 2 Full license is required for this role
  • Traffic management qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
