Floorpride is a leading independent flooring retailer, proudly serving Canterbury for 26 years across our two local sites.


Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join our friendly team at our Mandeville Street site.


This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, keeping things organised and being part of a supportive team.


About the role


No two days will necessarily be the same! Your responsibilities will include:


  • Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock movements.
  • Picking and preparing orders for customers and installers.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
  • Operating a forklift and assisting with general warehouse duties.
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy, organised and running efficiently.
  • Working closely with our sales and installation teams to ensure the right products are available when needed.


What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience in a storeperson or warehouse role.
  • A current forklift licence.
  • A good understanding of inventory management systems and accurate stock control.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A self-reliant, practical approach with the ability to work independently.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in and support the wider team.
  • Good communication skills and a strong focus on customer service and safety.
