BestStart Kaikorai Valley Road is seeking a passionate Caregiver to join our friendly and close-knit team. Our focus is on providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment where tamariki are encouraged to learn, explore, and thrive.

About the Role


As a Caregiver, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where tamariki can flourish. Working alongside our teaching team, you'll:


  • Provide exceptional care and support for children
  • Foster positive relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
  • Support learning experiences and daily centre activities
  • Assist across classrooms and contribute to centre operations


This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


About You


We're looking for someone who:


  • Ideally has experience working with children under five
  • Has a natural affinity for caring for infants, toddlers, and young children
  • Brings a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
