About the Role


We are looking for a friendly and reliable combined Food & Dining Attendant / Cafe Assistant to join our fabulous team at our Gulf Rise Village, based in Red Beach. This role is all about providing great service to residents and helping create an enjoyable dining experience.


You will assist with meal service, maintain dining and kitchenette areas, and ensure food service areas are clean, stocked, and ready throughout the day. You will be front of house on one of these shifts working in the stunning cafe, also providing an outstanding service to our residents and visitors.


Shifts: Food & Dining Attendant (Sat/Sun 7:30 - 2pm) and Cafe Assistant, Mon 10 -2pm) total of 16 hours per week


Key Responsibilities


  • Serve meals and beverages to residents
  • Set up dining and kitchenette areas for meal services
  • Clear tables and clean dining areas after meals
  • Operate dishwashers and assist with cleaning duties
  • Replenish crockery, cutlery, condiments, and supplies
  • Restock food and drink items in kitchenettes
  • Ensure residents have fresh water available
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures


About You


  • Friendly, caring, and customer-focused
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, aged care, or customer service is an advantage but not essential
