Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a day-shift warehouse team and help keep a busy operation running safely, efficiently and to target.


About the role

You’ll provide hands-on leadership to the warehouse team, overseeing picking, checking and dispatch while supporting performance, productivity and continuous improvement.


You’ll be expected to get involved with the team and operation, with duties also including customer deliveries, pickups and dispatching when required.


What’s on offer

  • Monday–Friday, with rostered Saturdays when required
  • 10.00am–7.00pm

What we’re looking for

  • 2–4 years’ experience supervising warehouse staff
  • Strong warehouse and forklift experience
  • Current OSH Forklift Certificate
  • Comfortable working in a cool store environment (2°C to -18°C), with most work in the chiller and some time in the freezer
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced freight environment
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Confident motivating a team and managing conflict professionally
  • Experience with HACCP requirements
  • Good computer skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to learn the wider operation
  • Experience with team-based improvement initiatives


This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the front and working alongside their team to achieve targets and improve the operation.
