Job Description

Programmed is looking for an experienced Ride-On Mower Operator to join our Streetscapes Mowing team, maintaining Auckland's parks, berms, road verges and general public open spaces.

This is passive mowing - not sports fields.

In this role, you will:

  • Operate commercial ride-on mowers safely and efficiently
  • Carry out mowing, trimming, edging and general grounds maintenance
  • Assist with basic garden and grounds work when required
  • Complete daily machinery checks, cleaning and fault reporting
  • Work as part of a supportive team delivering quality open space services

About You

You enjoy working outdoors, take pride in a tidy finish and don't mind getting stuck in whatever the weather.

You will have:

  • Proven commercial ride-on mowing experience
  • Experience with passive turf and open space mowing
  • A full NZ driver licence and be confident driving a manual vehicle - essential
  • Good fitness, reliability and a strong work ethic
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
