About the role


We're looking for a Cleaner (Domestic Aid) to join Oakridge Villas in Kerikeri, Northland.  You'll be working under the direction of the clinical team providing a high standard of cleaning within our Care Home.


This role is a permanent part time position, working 22 hours a week over 4 days:


  • Monday 0900-1530
  • Tuesday 0900-1300
  • Thursday 0900-1530
  • Friday 0900-1530


There will be opportunity for you to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing:


  • Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents including processing Laundry
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect
  • Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed


About you


We are looking for someone with the right attitude with excellent communication skills. You will work as part of a team to provide a high level of cleaning and hygeine standards. Some things that will support your application include:


  • Good level of fitness
  • Previous cleaning experience is highly beneficial.
  • Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives
  • Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
