As a Teacher in Training, you'll work alongside experienced kaiako, supporting children's learning and development while building your teaching practice in a collaborative environment.


This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week.

Role Requirements:


  • Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor of Teaching
  • A good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning
  • Knowledge of Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations, with a strong focus on compliance
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive pedagogical practices
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to quality teaching and learning
