Laser Plumbing Oamaru is looking for a qualified and reliable Certified Gasfitter and/or Licensed Plumber to join our team.


We have a great mix of work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work on a wide range of plumbing and gas projects across the Waitaki region.


THE ROLE


We have opportunities for both a Certified Gasfitter and a Licensed Plumber, with a varied workload across the Oamaru and wider Waitaki area.


As a Certified Gasfitter, you'll be involved in:


  • General gas installations
  • Gas servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and resolving gas-related issues
  • Delivering safe, compliant and high-quality gas solutions


As a Licensed Plumber, your work will include:


  • General plumbing servicing and maintenance
  • Renovations
  • New builds
  • Rural plumbing
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Delivering quality plumbing solutions for residential and commercial customers


You'll work across a variety of projects, giving you plenty of opportunity to use your skills and experience while continuing to develop professionally.

  • Fully qualified in their relevant trade
  • A Certified Gasfitter and/or Licensed Plumber
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
  • Proud of their workmanship and attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious and committed to doing the job properly
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional and respectful when dealing with customers
  • Honest, dependable and solutions-focused
  • Someone with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
