  • Ready to take the next step into Supply Chain Management?
  • Lead logistics, inventory, planning and warehousing
  • Stable, well-established business with Export & NZ customers

Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to take the next step into a broader management role?

Oasis Engineering is looking for a Logistics Manager to take ownership of our warehousing, logistics, inventory, material planning and distribution operations from our Tauranga manufacturing facility.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has built solid experience across logistics, warehousing, inventory or supply and is ready to step into a broader Supply Chain Management role within a successful, well-established manufacturing business.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a smaller business, where you'll have genuine visibility, responsibility and the opportunity to make a measurable difference.

About Oasis Engineering

Oasis Engineering, part of the global Elaflex HIBY Group based in Germany, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality valve products for New Zealand and international markets.

We design and manufacture innovative products for the Dairy, Gas and Hydrogen industries, with a strong focus on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be part of our Senior Leadership Team and lead a small team of three.

You'll oversee the full logistics and supply function - from receiving raw materials through to finished products reaching customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Material procurement, requirements and production planning
  • Warehouse, goods-inwards and inventory management
  • Stock control and annual stocktakes
  • Domestic and international shipping, customs and distribution
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and logistics providers, including UPS and Mainfreight
  • Identifying and proactively managing supply risks
  • Analysing logistics and supply chain data and performance
  • Using inventory planning tools, including Netstock
  • Leading and developing your team and managing workflows
  • Working closely with Sales, Product Development and Operations
  • Driving continuous improvement, efficiency and cost reduction
  • Maintaining a 95%+ DIFOTIS target
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained

About You

We're looking for someone who has built a strong foundation in logistics, warehousing, inventory or supply and is ready to broaden their experience and step into management.

You may currently be working as a Logistics Supervisor, Supply Planner, Inventory Manager or similar, and be ready for the next step.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 5-7 years' relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of logistics, distribution and inventory
  • Experience with warehouse management or stock control systems
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Leadership capability and the confidence to work across the business
  • A practical, hands-on approach and positive "can-do" attitude
  • Manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
  • Professional logistics or supply chain qualifications are advantageous

Why Join Oasis?

This is more than another logistics role - it's an opportunity to take the next step in your career and develop broader Supply Chain Management experience.

You'll work directly with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, lead a small team and have genuine influence over how the business operates.

You'll also enjoy:

  • A successful and well-established New Zealand manufacturer
  • Global exposure through the Elaflex HIBY Group
  • A supportive, collaborative and continuous-improvement culture
  • A role with genuine career development and responsibility
  • The opportunity to contribute to innovative products across NZ and international markets

If you're ready to move from logistics into a broader Supply Chain Management role, we'd love to hear from you.
