About the role


Located in a beautiful location in the Canterbury region, Fable Terrace Downs Resort has been nominated for various prestigious Hospitality awards. Boasting a championship style golf-course, Fable Terrace Downs Resort Resort is the perfect destination venue for weddings and conference events.


We are currently seeking a Fixed-term Food & Beverage Attendant who have a passion for providing exceptional customer service to contribute to our high level of customer satisfaction. You will build genuine and authentic connections with every guest. Your ability to promote products and services is essential, and you have immaculate personal presentation and excellent communication skills.


Please note, this position is in Windwhistle, Canterbury , a 1 hour drive from Christchurch. Due to the remote location of the Resort, you will need your own transportation.


Skills & Requirements:


  • Previous experience and success in a similar hospitality role
  • The ability to professionally greet and serve guests as well as providing premium-standard table service
  • The ability to process payments accurately
  • The ability to multi-task
  • The ability to carry multiple plates at once
  • Bartending and barista skills are advantageous
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately at all times
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Physically fit and able to perform the demands of the role


New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a current valid work visa is essential!
