What's Involved?

  • Carrying out residential and commercial building and construction work.
  • Reading and interpreting building plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Completing framing, structural work, installations and finishing tasks.
  • Ensuring all work meets NZ building codes and quality standards.
  • Working independently and alongside other trades to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised worksite.


What We're Looking For Trade-qualified builder with a recognised building or carpentry qualification.


  • Proven experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of NZ building codes and health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret plans.
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
