Job Description

What are we looking for?

At Hall's, we are looking for a reliable and flexible Class 4 Driver to join our team at our Dunedin depot, who can be the friendly face of our business and deliver chilled or frozen freight along with outstanding service for our customers and their customers.

In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses within the wider Otago region, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

You will need to be a team player ready to join a hardworking team and have previous warehousing and counterbalance experience, preferably within a chilled/frozen environment.

This role requires the successful applicant to undertake store person duties so it will be a dual faceted position.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Possess a full Class 4 license, with a minimum of 1 years NZ Class 4 driving experience
  • Have a good geographical knowledge of the Otago and wider regions
  • Possess a current and valid OSH certificate
  • Have a working knowledge of EROAD & TruckMate
  • To be committed to working Monday through to Friday (with the occasional Saturday), hours of work will be as per the roster.
  • We are after someone who is self-motivated with a positive attitude and has the level of physical fitness required for this kind of role.
