We are looking for multiple Casual Food Service Associates to join our team at Palmerston North Hospital .


This is a flexible casual opportunity, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis to support operational requirements. Whether you're studying, raising a family, semi-retired, or looking for extra income alongside another role, this position offers the flexibility to work around your availability.


In this rewarding role, you'll help provide nutritious meals and excellent service to patients, contributing to their overall healthcare experience.

As shifts may be available across different times of the day, access to reliable transport is essential.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities


  • Assist with basic food preparation and serving patient meals
  • Support general kitchen duties, cleaning, and dishwashing
  • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Ensure patient meal requests are handled accurately and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll be reliable, positive, and willing to contribute wherever needed.


You will also:
