Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Plumber to join a project in the Hastings area.


This role is suited to someone with proven hands-on experience in refrigeration pipework who can confidently work with copper piping, glycol and ammonia systems.


Relevant experience is essential for this role.


Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $35–$45 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly


  • What you’ll be doingInstalling copper refrigeration pipework
  • Working with glycol and ammonia systems
  • Carrying out pipe fitting and associated installation work
  • Working safely and efficiently within an active project environment
  • Following site procedures and project requirements
  • What we’re looking forProven pipe fitting or plumbing experience is essential
  • Experience installing copper refrigeration pipework is essential
  • Practical experience working with glycol and ammonia systems
  • Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Able to meet police vetting requirements for the site
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Reliable, safety-conscious and confident working independently
