Senior / Chartered Civil Engineer, Tauranga, $120,000 - $160,000

Is a successful, multidisciplinary  national engineering consultancy who are part of an international group. The company has an excellent reputation and structured career progression.


Due to growth they have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Tauranga team.


This is a great opportunity to grow your career within a supportive team, working across a diverse range of land development and infrastructure projects in the Bay of Plenty region.


This is a key role offering the opportunity to manage clients and projects from inception through to delivery, while contributing to both local and national project teams.

The Role


  • Leading civil engineering design and project delivery from concept to completion
  • Managing client relationships and providing technical expertise
  • Delivering projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments
  • Undertaking roading, pavement and three waters design
  • Supporting Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) initiatives
  • Providing leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to team members
  • Contributing to construction management and project verification
  • Supporting wider teams across multiple offices


About You


  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • CPEng (or working towards)
  • 6+ years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within consultancy
  • Experience in land development and infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Commercial awareness and client-focused approach
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
