He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cleaning Assistants to join our team at Linton Military Camp in Ruapehu.

This is a permanent position offering guaranteed 40 hours per week , rostered across seven days. You'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our Defence community.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of premises, communal areas and facilities
  • Remove rubbish and maintain waste collection areas
  • Safely use, maintain and store cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with other cleaning duties as required

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate you will:

  • Be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Already have some experience working in commercial cleaning.
  • Have a flexible attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Have attention to detail.
  • Be willing to go the extra mile but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great customer service and quality.
