Job Description

  • More than Full Pay Parity
  • Discounted childcare for your tamariki

At Learning Adventures Takanini, we’re all about helping tamariki grow into confident, independent learners through play, cultural connection, and strong relationships. Our centre is a warm, nurturing space where children feel safe, valued, and supported by passionate kaiako who work closely with whānau every step of the way. With healthy meals, a vibrant daily rhythm, and a rich mix of storytelling, creative arts, outdoor exploration, and local adventures, life here is full of energy, fun, and meaningful learning. This is a place where culture is celebrated, community matters, and every child’s mana is uplifted as they discover who they are and what they can achieve.

Lead a Centre Where People Come First

As our Centre Manager, you’ll be the heart of our community — visible, approachable, and deeply connected with whānau, tamariki, and kaiako. Your leadership will shape the culture of the centre, fostering trust, positivity, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Working closely with your Area Manager, you’ll champion collaboration, strengthen team engagement, and guide your centre toward strong educational and operational outcomes. Your judgement, warmth, and professionalism will inspire your team to deliver exceptional ECE experiences every day.

At Learning Adventures Takanini, you’ll bring Evolve’s values to life:

  • Kotahitanga – we are stronger together
  • Manaakitanga – we make everyone feel welcome
  • Mahia te mahi – we thrive on progress
  • Kia manawanui – we see a world of possibilities

These values will guide your leadership as you champion equity, nurture inclusive practice, and create an environment where children, families, and kaiako feel supported and empowered.
