About the role:

Fable Dunedin Hotel is an award-winning luxury hotel in the heart of Dunedin Central. There is now an exciting opportunity for 2 x Food and Beverage Attendants to join this stunning hotel.

This role plays a crucial role in shaping the guest service experiences in our F&B venue - The Press Club. As Food and Beverage Attendant, you will provide exceptional customer service, contributing to our high level of customer satisfaction. You will build genuine and authentic connections with every guest. Your ability to promote products and services is essential, and you have immaculate personal presentation and excellent communication skills.

This role will enable you to elevate your Food & Beverage career within a 5-star hotel environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver Front of House services in the restaurant
  • Assist the bar services and deliver beverages
  • Support the preparations of conference and function services
  • Connect with guests and upsell Hotel's products
  • Ensure that the venue is kept clean at all time
  • Assist with other departments such as Kitchen and Front Office  as needed
  • Understand the company policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of other staff members and guests.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience and success in a similar hospitality role
  • The ability to professionally greet and serve guests as well as providing premium-standard table service
  • The ability to multi-task
  • The ability to carry multiple plates at once
  • Bartending and barista skills are advantageous
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately at all times
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts across all 7 days a week, including morning, evening, weekends and public holidays
  • New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a current valid work visa is essential!
