ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client establishes themselves as the premier supplier of IT infrastructure consulting, procurement, implementation, and support services in Hamilton.

They operate across Key and Corporate Business segments in the local region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced HRP Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the implementation phase of a major HR and Payroll transformation programme. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, Testing Manager, HR and Payroll SMEs, and solution partners, you will help ensure the successful deployment of a new TechnologyOne HRP platform and a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.

This role combines business analysis, operational readiness, stakeholder engagement, data migration support, testing assistance, and go-live preparation. You will be responsible for validating business processes, supporting payroll parallel runs, maintaining requirements traceability, coordinating business readiness activities, and ensuring organisational preparedness for deployment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong HR and payroll systems experience, capable of bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams while driving successful programme outcomes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering HR, Payroll, ERP, or large-scale business transformation programmes, ideally through implementation, go-live, and BAU transition.
  • Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes, with the ability to assess operational impacts, business controls, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting data migration activities, including data validation, reconciliation, issue resolution, audit compliance, and business sign-off.
  • Expertise in requirements traceability, business process analysis, impact assessment, and change management, ensuring alignment between business needs and system functionality.
  • Experience supporting UAT, defect management, business validation, payroll parallel runs, and testing sign-off activities within complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across business users, SMEs, project teams, and external vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage business readiness, cutover, deployment, governance reporting, risks, issues, and dependencies, while producing high-quality documentation and supporting successful operational transition.
