  • The Company My client is a large, multi-entity organisation with operations across New Zealand and Australia. Following continued growth and internal movement within the finance team, they are seeking a Group Finance Manager to join their Auckland-based finance function. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and well-regarded business where you'll gain broad exposure across group reporting, commercial finance and business improvement initiatives while working closely with senior finance leaders. The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a broad role offering exposure across group reporting, consolidations, planning, business partnering and strategic projects. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders and stakeholders across the business, helping deliver meaningful financial insights while supporting a range of business improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate month-end reporting, financial analysis and consolidated reporting across the Group
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes
  • Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making
  • Coordinate external audits, maintain strong financial controls and support governance activities
  • Contribute to board reporting and key finance deliverables for senior leadership
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, finance transformation projects and systems enhancements
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and CFO on strategic priorities and business improvement initiatives
  • Your Profile My client is looking for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can build credibility with stakeholders across the business. You will combine strong technical capability with commercial curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Big 4 training followed by commercial experience would be highly regarded, although this is not essential. You will likely bring: CA qualification
  • Strong IFRS knowledge
  • Experience preparing complex consolidations
  • Strong Excel skills working with large data sets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
