Carpenter/Joiners Wanted – Auckland, New Zealand

We’re looking for experienced Carpenter/Joiners who are confident in both carpentry and joinery duties to join our Auckland team.


If you thrive on variety and enjoy working on everything from residential builds to commercial fit-outs and precision joinery, we want to hear from you!


Auckland will be the predominant region of work for this role, however you may also be required to work in Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui and Wellington regions. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:


  • You’ll need to be confident and experienced with:
  • Residential, commercial & civil carpentry
  • 1st, 2nd & final fix carpentry and joinery work
  • Reading and working from plans, specifications & technical drawings
  • Fabricating, installing, and repairing joinery components such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and bespoke timber features
  • Framing, subflooring, cladding & roof work
  • Precision fitting and finishing of timber and composite materials
  • Shuttering joinery & steel tying
  • Operating power tools and machinery relevant to both carpentry and joinery


What we’re looking for:


  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or
  • A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (or an overseas qualification recognised by NZQA as comparable).
  • Your own hand and power tools
  • Reliable transport
  • Two solid work references
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
