Job Description

Looking for experienced knife hands / filleters for a Seafood processing plant in Mount Wellington

Shifts: night shift (start time between 6pm to 9pm)

Rates: between $26.50 - 28ph


Duties:

  • Filleting, de-boning & trimming seafood
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Cleaning & sanitation of production area
  • Working at pace to meet quotas within specific timeframes


Successful applicants must:

  • Have at least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Be physically fit and able to do manual tasks with some heavy lifting
  • Work in chilled and wet environments
  • Have decent numeracy & literacy skills
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & return a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal background check
  • Have two contactable references
  • Good safety behaviour - making safe choices, confident to speak up and be actively involved in Safety and Wellbeing
  • Good conduct - acting with honesty, respect, responsibility and accountability and followingthe rules
  • Must be able to understand instruction and communicate clearly
