Casual Unloaders – Join Our On‑Call Team

We’re building a reliable pool of casual unloaders to support our clients’ ongoing operations.


This is a great opportunity for students or anyone looking to pick up extra income with flexible, casual shifts.


Every week will differ with some weeks providing 1, 2 days of work or 3 days of work, the flexibility suits applicants looking for casual only work.


Working in teams, you will be relied on to provide support and assist in unloading and loading our clients’ products, training will be provided and potential further development for the right applicants.

About the Role

In this casual, on‑call position, you’ll be part of a supportive team responsible for unloading and loading products for our clients. The workload can change from week to week, and you’ll usually receive 2–3 days’ notice for your shifts, making this a great option for anyone needing flexible work around study, other commitments, or simply wanting to earn some extra income.


You’ll be hands‑on throughout each shift, working efficiently while maintaining strong Health & Safety standards. Training is provided, and those who show reliability and a solid work ethic may have opportunities for further development and upskilling.


All shifts begin at our client’s site in Otahuhu, where secure onsite parking is available before heading out to the unloading location all within in Auckland.


About you,

  • Must be physically fit to hand unload and load products (MHE handling equipment available for use.)
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Able to complete induction process
  • Able to pass a pre‑employment drug test
  • Able to return a satisfactory police check
  • Be a team player but can also work autonomously
  • Comfortable working on the wharf
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • A forklift licence would be advantageous
