Our client is a well-established, family-owned company with a growing reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship across Otago Specialising in the construction of high-quality new homes and renovations of architecturally designed properties, they take pride in their attention to detail and superior workmanship.


We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Painter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of painting techniques, excellent surface preparation skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.


Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Painting new residential homes and renovating existing properties.
  • Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling, priming and finishing.
  • Applying a range of painting techniques to achieve professional, high-quality results.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Following all workplace Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.


To Be Successful, You Will Have:


  • A recognised painting trade qualification or relevant certification.
  • Previous experience in residential painting, ideally on high-end architectural homes.
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application and finishing techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
  • A full, valid driver's licence.
  • A reliable, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
