About the role


We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Distribution Centre Operator to join our Primepac Distribution team.


This role is essential in supporting the smooth and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of products, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.


As a key member of the DC team, you will be responsible for a wide range of warehousing duties, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency and care.

Working collaboratively with your team, you will help ensure daily operational targets are met while supporting the wider success of the business. This role requires a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent attention to detail and a positive, team-first attitude.

Key responsibilities


Reporting to the Distribution Centre Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will include:


  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately through WMS and ERP systems
  • Safely and efficiently loading and unloading trucks
  • Supporting MPI compliance and container devanning processes
  • Accurately receipting, recording and storing inwards goods
  • Completing WMS bin transfers, replenishment and stock transfers
  • Collaborating with the team to meet individual and team KPIs
  • Contributing to a positive, reliable and team-focused DC culture
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised DC environment
  • Following all health and safety, operational and compliance procedures


Skills and experience required


To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:


  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems. NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Computer literacy and confidence using scanning and Distribution Centre technology
  • A current forklift licence, with competent reach truck and counterbalance experience
  • A good level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift, move and handle stock safely
  • Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to maintaining high work standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy across all Distribution Centre tasks
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
