About the role


Bell Gully’s market-leading corporate department is looking for experienced intermediate lawyers in our Auckland team.


As an intermediate lawyer in the team, you will advise on a full range of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including private and public M&A, capital raisings, corporate restructurings and joint ventures. You will work for a diverse group of domestic and international clients, including international private capital and infrastructure funds, and listed companies, in a highly-respected and inclusive and supportive team environment.

The dynamics of the team, work and client opportunities, will provide you with the platform to thrive and develop as a corporate lawyer, whether you are moving within New Zealand or coming from offshore.


Experience and qualifications


  • 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • M&A and other corporate transactions
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and client service skills
  • Admitted (or eligible for admission) as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
