We welcome applications for two Admission and Enrolment Specialist positions within

Student Registry in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Students and Global Engagement, Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University.

Āu Mahi | What you will do

We are thrilled to announce two full-time fixed-term opportunities until 30 July 2027 for

passionate and dedicated specialists to join our Student Administration teams in the

Manawatū. With one position in the Admissions team and one in the Enrolment team, these roles offer the opportunity to support students at different stages of their university journey.

As an Admission and Enrolment Specialist, you will play an essential role in ensuring students receive timely, accurate and consistent outcomes throughout key stages of their academic journey.

You will be responsible for delivering admission application or course enrolment and

credit/RPL outcomes for all domestic and international tauira.

You will work closely with colleagues across the University to deliver exceptional service while ensuring compliance, accuracy and consistency in decision making. Your ability to balance attention to detail with efficiency will directly contribute to student success and the University's strategic goals.


As a dynamic professional in the Student Registry Palmerston North team, you will play a

pivotal role behind the scenes, supporting our students and stakeholders with a superior

service mindset by providing Admission and/or Enrolment assessment.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to tangata whenuatanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • partnership in Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Understand and recognise the status of tangata whenua in Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Show a willingness to practise and further develop the use of te reo Māori and tikanga
  • Māori.

Previous experience in a tertiary education environment, particularly within admissions or

enrolment functions, would be advantageous.


Salary Range

The salary band for this position is $60,069 – $84,876. We are looking to appoint between

$60,000–$70,000 NZD, depending on skills and experience.
