Job Description

General Labourer

Tradestaff is looking for a reliable General Labourer to join construction projects across Taupo. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, can get stuck into a range of site tasks, and wants to build further experience in the construction industry.


Location: Taupo

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $25–$27 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You'll Be DoingAssist tradespeople with day-to-day construction tasks
  • Complete general site clean-up and remove building waste
  • Move, load, and organise materials around the worksite
  • Help with basic site preparation and set-up
  • Use basic hand and power tools where appropriate
  • Keep accessways and work areas clear and organised
  • Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures
  • What We're Looking ForFull driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Previous construction site experience is desired
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on labouring work
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Able to work safely and follow instructions on active construction sites
  • Contactable work references
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
