Salary range: $86,113 to $109,901 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching,

undertake impactful research, and collaborate with colleagues to address contemporary

management challenges facing organisations and communities both nationally and

internationally.


About the Role

As a Lecturer in Management, you will contribute to teaching, research, postgraduate

supervision, and service activities within the School. You will engage students through

innovative teaching practices, contribute to curriculum development, and build a research

profile that aligns with the University's strategic objectives.

We are particularly interested in candidates whose expertise and research interests align with areas such as leadership, ethics, employee wellbeing, sustainability, international business, and human resource management.


What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A PhD in Management, Leadership, International Business, Human Resource
  • Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated teaching and research experience in a relevant management field.
  • Proven tertiary teaching capability and a commitment to delivering an excellent student learning experience.
  • A developing record of high-quality research and publication.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative research and postgraduate supervision.
  • Research interests that align with contemporary management challenges, including leadership, ethics, employee wellbeing, sustainability, and human resource management.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collegial and collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and external partners.
  • A demonstrated commitment to working in a Te Tiriti o Waitangi-led environment and
  • contributing to an inclusive and culturally responsive university community.
