Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Flexographic Printerto join our client.

Tasks include but are not limited to:


  • Meet KPIs, production and qualityrequirements

Accurately record production records (run time, downtime,waste reporting)


Set up, adjusting parameters and run flexographic printingpresses


Match colours and inks to customer specifications


Monitor operations and print quality throughout productionruns


Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minormechanical issues


Maintain accurate production records and documentation


Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times


Requirements:


Trade qualification or equivalent qualification


Minimum 3 years of experience in printing


Experienced operating flexographic presses - preferably wideweb printing


Printing experience on LDPE, PET, BOPP, HDPE or similarsubstrates


Strong understanding of printing processes, inks, andsubstrates


Excellent attention to detail and colour matching skills


Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods


Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills


Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic


Flexibility to work shifts/overtime as needed


Beneficial:


Preferably experience in packaging industry and food safetyand hygiene standards


Experience with central impression presses (Miraflex orsimilar)


Experience with solvent based ink
