Civil Construction Labourer

We are looking for a strong, motivated Civil Construction Labourer to join an established roading maintenance crew, undertaking pothole repairs, road maintenance and general civil construction duties.


This is an outstanding opportunity for someone wanting to break into the civil construction industry, learn valuable skills and build a long-term career from the ground up.


Main Responsibilities Will Include:

- Carry out pothole repairs, road patching and general roading maintenance.

- Laying, spreading and compacting.

- Assist with road surface preparation, repairs and reinstatement.

- Operate hand tools, power tools and small construction equipment.

- Assist experienced operators and tradespeople with day-to-day civil construction activities.

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.

- General laboring duties


What We're Looking For:

- Excellent physical fitness and strength - essential.

- A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to undertake demanding manual labour.

- Full Class 1 driver's licence preferred, WTR added bonus

- Class 2 licence and/or Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) endorsements would be a definite advantage

- Previous civil construction or roading experience beneficial but not essential.

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

- Willingness to learn, take direction and develop new skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- A genuine interest in building a career within civil construction.
