Play a key role in the data development and delivery as part of our Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI) project, here at Stats NZ. The IDI is a world first in leading the integration of datasets to link information from key Government agencies, surveys and NGO’s, to translate into better social outcomes for all New Zealanders. We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Programme Administrator to join a multi-disciplinary team focussed on modernising the IDI.

The role will assist in the coordination and delivery of a range of project and reporting artefacts including providing administrative support for papers, schedules, budgets and information management activities. In addition, you will support the team through a range of tasks including organising meetings and events, general processing of invoices, as well as act as the project’s SharePoint administrator.

You will liaise with key stakeholders to make sure the processes supporting the workstreams are highly efficient, effective and organised to aid everyone in their work. You’ll be solutions focused and able to quickly solve problems while always striving for continuous improvements in the way we do things. The scope of the role will require you to have a "no job is too big or too small" approach to the way you operate.

This will allow the IDI to remain robust, agile, secure, and fit for purpose, supporting both operational delivery and future capability uplift.

  • Be proactive in coordinating information requests and support for our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sharepoint administration experience including information management practises and permissions and user management.
  • Be comfortable assisting the team with other initiatives and events as and when required, e.g. assisting with workshops and collaboration forums etc
  • Possess a calm positive approach with the ability to know what is important and work at pace.

Salary for this position: $63,628 – 86,086 + kiwisaver
