Job Description

Are you a Sterilising Technician looking for a new CSSD opportunity? Here's what you’ve been waiting for!

We have a full-time permanent vacancy for a NZ Certified Sterilising Technician, to work rostered 8 hours shifts, in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art CSSD in Parnell, Auckland. Your 8 hr shifts will be rostered between the hours of 7am to midnight, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

At Allevia Sterile Processing we process surgical instruments for Allevia Hospitals in Epsom & Greenlane (Ascot) & several other locations. CSSD is the backbone of our theatres' operation & with the ever-increasing number of daily operations, we are committed to provide a first-class decontamination & sterilisation service for our growing organisation.

To be considered you will have:

  • Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Sterilising Technology
  • CSSD experience in NZ
  • Aptitude for handling mechanical equipment
  • Good physical fitness & agility
  • Clear & confident communication skills
