Intermediate Civil Engineer, Napier, $90,000-$110,000

Due to growth they recruit an Intermediate Civil Engineer for their Napier team.

The Role


You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, contributing to civil design, reporting, and project delivery.

  • Civil design for subdivisions from concept through to completion
  • Undertaking roading and pavement design
  • Designing stormwater and wastewater reticulation systems
  • Supporting flood modelling and hydraulic assessments
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation
  • Conducting site monitoring and inspections
  • Supporting retaining wall, MSE wall and foundation design
  • Contributing to coastal and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • 4+ years’ NZ experience, ideally within consultancy
  • Experience in land development and infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Experience or exposure to HEC-HMS / HEC-RAS (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of NZ standards and council requirements
  • Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
