About the Role

As a Chip Seal Truck Driver, you will play a key role in our chip sealing operations, transporting materials and equipment, operating machinery, and supporting the sealing crew to deliver high-quality road surfacing projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a chip seal truck during sealing operations.
  • Load sealing chip using a loader at stockpile locations.
  • Transport loaders, rollers, and other plant to and from worksites.
  • Assist with labouring and general site duties as required.
  • Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Work closely with sealing crews and supervisors to ensure efficient project delivery.


What You'll Bring

  • Minimum Class 5 Driver Licence.
  • Current WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement.
  • Strong heavy vehicle driving skills and experience.
  • Good navigational skills and the ability to travel safely and efficiently to work sites.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the operation.


Additional Requirements

  • Ability to stay away from home for extended periods.
  • Availability to work weekends, including Sundays, during the sealing season.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
