HEB is delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure works that require outstanding construction leadership, technical expertise and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Structures to take ownership of the safe and successful delivery of challenging structural packages across a significant project portfolio.

Working closely with project leadership, engineering teams and key stakeholders, you will lead the planning and execution of structural works, managing resources, subcontractors, programme delivery and project outcomes. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role on a high-profile project involving large-scale civil, structural and infrastructure construction while contributing to a lasting legacy for New Zealand communities.


What you'll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of complex structural construction works
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors and construction resources
  • Driving safety, quality, programme and commercial performance
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
  • Identifying and mitigating construction risks while ensuring efficient project delivery
  • Supporting and developing high-performing construction teams

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager, Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer with a proven track record delivering complex civil infrastructure projects. You'll bring strong leadership, technical expertise and a passion for driving safe, high-quality outcomes in challenging construction environments.


What you'll bring

  • Significant experience delivering major civil, structural or infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership of large construction teams and subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning and programme management
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on safety, quality and delivery
