Web Shop Manager – Glassons


Location : Christchurch Distribution Centre

Hours : Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday 7.30am until 4.30pm and Saturday 10am until 4pm)

We're on the lookout for an organised, motivated and hands-on Web Shop Manager to join our Glassons Distribution Centre team in Christchurch!

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our Web Shop operations, lead a passionate team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their online orders quickly and efficiently.


As our Web Shop Manager, you'll be at the heart of our online fulfilment operations, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing daily dispatch targets to developing your team and improving processes, no two days will be the same!


What you'll be doing :


  • Leading, motivating and developing the Web Shop team to achieve their best.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our online order fulfilment and dispatch processes.
  • Managing team productivity, staffing levels, budgets and performance targets.
  • Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Working closely with our Distribution Centre, Head Office, Customer Service and wider teams.
  • Managing customer refunds, exchanges, stock investigations and operational queries.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, processes and overall performance.
  • Maintaining a safe, organised and productive working environment.
  • Getting hands-on and supporting the team wherever needed!


What we're looking for :


  • Previous experience in a leadership or team management role.
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, e-commerce or customer-focused environment would be a bonus!
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • A confident communicator who knows how to motivate and bring out the best in their team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong administration and computer skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A strong understanding of productivity, operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in!
