We are looking for an experienced Civil Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in a variety of civil construction projects, helping deliver high-quality infrastructure outcomes across the Tasman region.

Working as part of a supportive and collaborative crew, you'll take pride in your workmanship and contribute to projects that make a real difference within our communities.


Key tasks include:


  • Constructing, installing and repairing formwork for concrete structures.
  • Building retaining walls.
  • Assisting with concrete placing, finishing and related civil construction activities.
  • Reading and interpreting plans and project specifications.
  • Operating and maintaining tools, plant and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard with strong attention to detail.
  • Contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, outdoor work, takes pride in producing quality results, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

To be successful in this role, you will have:


  • Previous experience as a Civil Carpenter or in a similar construction environment.
  • Concrete and formwork experience preferred.
  • Experience in retaining structures preferred.
  • Strong eye for detail and initiative
  • The ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • WTR endorsements and a Class 2 licence are advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a hardworking team.
