ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing team supporting a large, long-term contract within the utilities and telecommunications sector. This is a key role where you'll combine commercial insight, stakeholder engagement, and financial leadership to help drive performance across a complex operational environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with operational and project leaders to provide commercial insights and challenge decision-making.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Managing WIP, working capital, cash flow, and contract profitability.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and process optimisation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong Finance Business Partnering, Project Accounting, or Commercial Finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of project-based environments, including WIP, forecasting, costing, and contract performance.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and confidently challenge when required.
  • Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset.
  • Experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, engineering, telecommunications, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments is highly regarded.
