OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.


Summer is fast approaching and we’re building our pool of reliable, hardworking candidates ready to jump into Traffic Management work for the up-coming season!


OneStaff is currently recruiting Traffic Management Labourers for a local Traffic Management company. Whether you have previous experience or are looking to get your foot in the door, we’d love to hear from you.


No tickets? No worries! TTM, TMO or STMS qualifications are an advantage, but they are not essential.


Reporting to the Operations Manager or STMS on-site, you’ll play an important role in supporting safe and effective traffic management across roading, construction, civil works, infrastructure projects and special events.


Hours:

  • 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Must be Flexible as hours may increase/decrease depending on the workload


Duties will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Setting up and removing Traffic Management equipment
  • Deploying cones from the back of the TTM truck
  • Performing Stop/Go traffic control
  • Class 1 Driving
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements


The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:

  • Relevant Traffic Control qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Confident and capable Class 1 driver
  • Reliable, punctual and keen to get stuck in
  • Strong commitment to Health and Safety
  • Flexibility and availability for on-call work
  • Clear Communications Skills

  • Valid ID (Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate plus Driver’s Licence)
  • Work or character references
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
