Job Description

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Maintenance Worker to join a farm operation in Te Awamutu. This role would suit someone who enjoys varied maintenance work, knows their way around machinery, and can confidently tackle repairs as they come up.

Location: Te Awamutu

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour + weekly pay

  • What you'll be doingARC welding and general repair work
  • Maintaining and repairing farm machinery
  • Carrying out basic plumbing tasks
  • Completing general maintenance around the site
  • Using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance
  • Identifying maintenance issues and carrying out practical fixes
  • What we're looking forPractical mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience
  • ARC welding skills
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • A valid driver licence and reliable transport
  • Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual work
  • Comfortable working in an environment where strong odours are present
  • A reliable, practical approach to getting the job done
